Local Roots
I grew up in the Lithonia–Decatur area and understand the community because it is part of my own history. ATLTECHSPOT was built in the same area I have long called home.
ATLTECHSPOT began taking shape in 2014 with a practical goal, a commitment to independence and a willingness to learn. What started as home-based and mobile device repair grew into a permanent Stonecrest store built through persistence, customer trust and hands-on experience.
ATLTECHSPOT began taking shape in 2014 after I lost my job and made a commitment to build a future working for myself. I started from home as a mobile repair technician, working on phones, tablets and computers.
Without a storefront, I often met customers at convenient public locations, including local restaurants, and completed repairs wherever I could work safely and responsibly. My original goal was simple: earn between $100 and $200 a day, cover my bills and begin creating a foundation for something larger.
At the time, I understood the technical work, but I knew very little about owning or structuring a business. I learned while building—one repair, one customer and one lesson at a time. I saved as much as I could and continued developing both the technical skills and business knowledge needed to move forward.
In 2017, that work made it possible to open the ATLTECHSPOT store at 3316 Snapfinger Road, the same location we serve customers from today. Opening the store was not the end of the learning process. It was the beginning of a new stage that required greater responsibility, better structure and continued growth.
Now, in 2026, I have a deeper understanding of both sides of the business: repairing technology and building the systems needed to operate a company. I am still learning, improving and applying that knowledge to create a stronger business and a better experience for every customer.

Technology and business both require constant learning. Every stage has strengthened my understanding of diagnostics, customer service, planning and daily operations.
As a father, part of my purpose is showing my son what independence, discipline and persistence look like. I want him to see that knowledge can create opportunity and a foundation for the future.
